Oahu is the island with the widest array of vacation options. You can get the hustle and bustle of the city by staying in Waikiki or get the low key secluded feel by staying up in Turtle Bay and of course there is the family focused Ko Olina with Aulani. It is the perfect island to do a split vacation and pick 2 or more locations. It is also the one island I would say you can go without renting a car. You can easily take a shuttle or ride share to Waikiki and never have to leave the area. You can also shuttle to Aulani, other Ko Olina resorts or Turtle Bay resort.
